Political and Social Ethics
Political and social ethics are concerned with what principles, politics, and governments are best for a society. This area can overlap to what is the best operational process for policy makers, politicians, and government positions as well.
These ethics affect everyone in a society, and expand to national and global levels depending on the scope and severity of the issue. Many political and social conflicts arise over questions of values, obligation, and consequence.
What is most important to our society? What areas need the most attention? These conflicts frequently change.

Resolutions of political and social ethical dilemmas are important to resolve, and usually take long periods of communication to negotiate questions of collective narcissism, obligation, and values.
As one watches the news, political issues, political scandals, societal viewpoints, and our collective values are consistently questioned.
Some government programs, such as Social Security and Medicare, are socialistic in nature.
In a capitalist society, what programs, if any, should be socialized?
What clearly defines a society as capitalistic or socialistic?
In the United States, what defines an individual as a :
Republican?
Democrat?
Independent?
Are there any shared attributes?
